Melina and Mathew engagement

Recently excitations had the pleasure of photographing Melina and Mathew as they celebrated their engagement. We shot on location with the gorgeous couple in and around the Euston Club Resort. Despite our best efforts we couldn’t coax Mathew into wearing his more traditional outfit of a pair of engineers overalls… maybe for the wedding! This [...]

Studio closed next week…

Back to Melbourne again next week, so unfortunately our studio will be closed  on Monday 24th until 10am the following week. Apart from all the usual running around for client and supplier meetings, we will be photographing  Tania and Doms wedding while we’re in town…. So looking forward to that. Love working in different locations. [...]

Cruising in the Cruiser…

Tomorrow will see us taking our trusty old Landcruiser on her last scheduled assignment before a well deserved overhaul. 300 thousand kilometres plus and we think its probably time for a few tweaks and adjustments before we take her off on an other overland adventure. Tomorrows trip will be to Werrimull a tiny hamlet about [...]

Another celebrity controversy or not!

Scott Kelby over at scottkelby.com has an interesting take on yet another controverys over retouching of celbrity photographs for magazine covers. Retouchinbg of images for publication and in fact for private use is often in the news. Rarely a day goes by here at excitations when someone doesn’t suggest that we just fix that in [...]

Melissa and Les, Mildura wedding.

Last weekend the excitations team headed out to Wooden Eye Estate to take p[art in a wonderful wedding. Melissa and Les, chose Wooden Eye Estate for their wedding ceremony and what a great choice of locations for a small intimate wedding. Fabulous atmosphere, terrific location for wedding photography. Not that we stayed around there too [...]

Six months on…

After the devastating fires of February in Southern Victoria, I’ve had it in mind to shoot some pics, not of the damage and destruction or the human tragedy, but natures resurgence. Unfortunately the time I left aside to shoot pictures of the effected area turned out to be a crappy afternoon late last week. Lousy [...]

More beautiful debs…

Amongst all the rushing around at the end of last week, excitations had the opportunity to photograph three stunning young women who where about to make their debut. First off we photographed Tahlia in her parents garden, which is a tropical wonderland ideally suited to photography. Then we were back into the excitations studio for [...]

The Jersey Boys…

Tonight we took a couple of hours off, heading up the hill to the Princess Theatre where Jersey Boys is currently playing. I’ll be honest I’m not really a fan of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, but like almost everyone else exiting the theatre after tonight’s performance to a packed house…. I had a [...]

Art in the city.

For no other reason than I can or because it was there. The photo below was captured in Rankins Lane just off the Bourke Street Mall in Melbourne this morning. Share on Facebook
